      <title>iDive 1.8  </title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>Version 1.8 of iDive is a release that introduces many features and improvements.</p>

<h3>New features:</h3>

<li>a new capture module that has the following features:</li>

<li>ability to capture DV for FCP/FCE. Ability to add a timecode track and set the timecode source</li>
<p>	</p>
<li>ability to capture and compress on the fly in a variety of formats (offline, MPEG, H264,...) and setting a variety of options (bitrate, fps)</li>

<li>pre roll function to ensure that the capture process starts at the currently displayed frame</li>

<li>the Mosaic is now gone and replaced by PulpMotion (www.pulpmotion.com). PulpMotion fully integrates with iDive and lets you access all your videos as well as all sample images for creating compositions.</li>

<li>repackaging of the Spotlight module inside the application.</li>

<li>various bug fixes:</li>

      <title>iDive 1.8.5</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>Version 1.8.5 is a maintenance release that introduces many features and improvements.</p>

<h3>New features:</h3>

<ul>
<li>added the ability to export clip footage to iMovie 08. You can either create a new event with the footage to be exported, or add the video clips to an existing event.</li>

<li>added the ability to import mpg streams that were previously not recognized.</li>

<li>added media start and media end information when exporting to XML in the case where clips were subclips of a imported file. You can now import a large DV clip and activate scene detection. iDive will import the large file and create subclips for all the scenes. These clips can then be exported back to FCP with all the footage information preserved. </li>

<li>fixed a possible crash condition during capture, when gaps were present on the tape.</li>

<li>fixed a possible failure during capture due to the absence of timecode information.</li>

<li>fixed various capture problems.</li>

<li>fixed a possible crash condition during capture on french systems.</li>

<li>fixed a possible synchronization problem during capture in Quicktime DV format. Dropped video frames are now compensated for with the aim of maintaining the synchro between sound and audio. The new algorithm performs well even in situations where the Fincal Cut Pro capture module looses the synchro. </li>

<li>fixed a possible crash situation when viewing certain clips after an import.</li>

<li>fixed lots of localization issues in the french version.</li>
