How it works
Aquafadas Authoring Tools enable any user of Adobe® InDesign® to create interactive content for apps created with AVE AppFactory and without writing a single line of code.
We provide two different versions of our authoring tools:

• Single license for individual InDesign users
• Workgroup license for multiple InDesign users who want to work on individual digital publications simultaneously as a team

The interactive content created through our authoring tools is published through an app, which is created by using AVE AppFactory. Please see pricing for AVE AppFactory here.

Publish the content created through our authoring tools requires the purchase of a publishing license. Please see Publication License pricing here.

How it works
AVE AppFactory enables anyone to create real, highly interactive apps for Apple’s® iPad® without writing a single line of code.
Choose one of four apps that best fits your needs and type of publishing:

• Single publication app, to publish and sell an individual book (or any other individual publication)
• Single title newsstand app, to publish and sell consecutive issues of a single magazine or newspaper
• Multiple title newsstand app, to publish and sell consecutive issues of multiple magazines or newspapers
• Bookshelf app, to publish and sell multiple books through a single app

As long as an app is not published at Apple’s app store, there is no cost for creating and testing apps on an iPad or in the iOS simulator software.
The price for an app is a one-time fee, an app can be used with no time limitation.
An app is the container for the actual content, and in addition to the app publishing licenses must be purchased. Please see Publication License pricing here.

How it works
After content is created by using our authoring tools, it needs to be published into an app, which was created through AVE AppFactory.
Publishing content requires the purchase of a publishing license. The fee for a publishing license is a one-time, lifetime fee per publication. Publishing licenses can be bought in packs of different sizes at prices shown below. Publishing licenses must be used within one year (365 days) after purchase. Number of downloads for each publication is unlimited. A publication is either:

• An individual book title, or
• an individual magazine issue, or
• an individual newspaper issue.

In case you want to create your own applications for the iPhone®, iPad®, and AndroidTM-based devices.
For developers ONLY. The App Development Framework is NOT REQUIRED in order to use AVE AppFactory and our authoring tools.

How it works
There are only three cases that require the purchase of App Development Framework:

• To modify the app templates provided in our AVE AppFactory in order to adapt them to specific needs
• To create complete new app templates
• To integrate our authoring tools with already existing apps that have not been created using AVE AppFactory.

Use the Aquafadas development framework and create applications for all platforms in significantly less time compared to conventional development.
