The enriched app has been received well thanks to rich videos, 360 views of content and more and gained over 8000 downloads. It is currently promoted via a comms campaign including a video demo designed to expand audience reach and gain further interest.

Timing was perfect too as only a year ago TF1 celebrated its 40th anniversary, hence there were plenty of happy moments, and great content to share including: the Rugby World Cup, new TV shows, TF1 Group charitable projects etc. And all of it in the videos, slideshows, audio files format – highly appealing and attractive for today’s digital audiences.
Working with Rakuten Aquafadas partner in the USA Disco Learning, they created a really interactive content and powerful and scalable app. The transition between previous technology provider happened easily and the new technology proved to be full of new possibilities. Plus the ongoing management of users and teachers database has been possible without relying on a third-party manger.
To top all the changes off, the new innovative feature has been added – elasticsearch option. Thanks to it readers were offered a possibility to browse each magazine, searching for not only articles, titles but also very detailed words and mentions. For example you can easily find all the articles about Bob Dylan since the first edition of LesInrock. And all the results are then displayed with an easy to read and scrolls preview allowing to quickly check relevancy.
As a part of ongoing relationship with Aquafadas, Shueisha decided to explore further features and capabilities of Aquafadas apps technology including Indesign Plugin. Initially their 11 digital magazine editions were saved as separate apps. A great experience for readers but process headache for those managing the backend of content creation and publishing.
Thanks to new technology, Ouest France were able to create various newspapers really fast and automatically. Additionally, following positive results Ouest France decided to continue digitisation of their other magazines and amongst some of the newspapers converted with Aquafadas tools are: Le Courrier de l’Ouest, Presse Océan and le Maine Libre. And they even went further and created their own event apps benefitting from coding free apps tools.

Today there are 6 of them in total (Adecco France, Spring, Badenoch & Clark, Pontoon, Adecco Medical et Altedia). It started with 15 documents inside only and today the number reached over hundreds. Initially it was aimed at 1300 consultants and today it is facilitating meeting preparation and running for 2400 reps.
And the app went down a treat! 1000 people downloaded it, 80% of them found it useful and were actively browsing the info, spending the whopping 14 minutes on average – insights gathered thanks to the app analytics feature. And they even said: “friendly navigation, clear content”! And the show organisers enjoyed the ability to create such useful tool in a super short time and keenly used the real-time changes option to make sure that minute details are correct and always up to date!

The use of Aquafadas aptly demonstrates the artistic creativity and high-end interactivity that can be achieved while serving the needs of a global audience. Lufthansa’s new digital “planet” magazine received a prestigious Mercury Gold award for the outstanding design of both the App and Web versions. Presented by the New York International Academy of Communication Arts and Sciences (IACAS), the Mercury Excellence Awards are one of the most important award competitions in the world of professional communications.
Following the successful creation of the German e-mag, they are now working on developing the English and Chinese version, benefitting from the international network of Aquafadas resellers. Without the need to look for local suppliers or concerns about access behind the Great China Wall, they’re on the way to easily distribute inspiring company news.
The publication is intended to raise the awareness of the programme and on the opportunities it can provide to all citizens of the planet.
The technology used to build the “The Copernicus Touchbook” was created by Rakuten Aquafadas and is the most comprehensive communication tool designed so far to introduce the Copernicus Programme.
There are already 2000 users and the number is growing. The initial feedback has been positive and enthusiastic with many users contacting De Matteis Agroalimentare to express congratulations on the app and its modern and easy way to create a direct communication channel filled with various types of engaging content. And this is just the beginning!
The app has been launched for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. The entire content was created internally by a team of designers who were able to use the Aquafadas InDesign plugin without the need for coding. Availability on multiple platforms allowed the app to have an expansive reach and increase the visibility of the brand itself, important for the Delta Dore marketing strategy. And in the four months it reached 1540 downloads in France alone.

Therefore, we looked for a lean solution that allows us to create the Greenpeace Magazin digital design on basis of our InDesign documents. At the same time we didn’t want to create a digital duplicate of the printed magazine, but a rich media publication that fully exploits all advantages of a tablet.
The end result is an elegant digital publication that is perfectly tailored for viewing on both iOS and Android, for smartphones and tablets.
