Universal Deeplink

In order to have deeplinks on all platforms (smartphones, tablets, web) the deeplink structure changes: aqfDeeplink://scheme/action.

The universal deeplink allows you to open external applications from your current application.

For now, you can use this new deeplink only inside your application and content with a Featured Item banner and a Featured Item element assigned to the banner:

  • Case 1: the application displayed in the banner is not installed on the device. The link for the application on the stores (Apple and Google Play stores) exists on Cloud Connect/App/Social Sharing. The user is redirected to an HTML page with links to download the application. See image above.
  • Case 2: the application is already installed on the device. An automatic redirection allows the opening of the application.

In version 4.8.2 the former deeplinks coexist seamlessly with the new ones.

For further details, see Deeplink documentation.

Hide subscriptions

In Cloud Connect, in the Products tab, you can hide a subscription with the delete button.

The subscription will no longer be visible on Cloud Connect platform and in the application, but it will remain active for users who submitted for the subscription. When the subscription will reach its term, it will not longer be renewable.
