The Test mode is crucial for testing applications before submitting them.

It allows you to:

  • display un-published issues.
  • bypass the store and acquire free issues.

You declare and register a device per application.

To declare and register a device for test, firstly you need to get its UUID.

Get the UID of the device

  1. Customize the URL scheme of the application in AppFactory: type the URL scheme of the application as it will be used for both iOS and Android for deep links. For further details, see Deeplinks documentation.

"myapp" is just un example, you can type any name you want.

2. Export your application on the device: .IPA file for iOS and .APK file for Android. For further details see, Install the application on iOS device and Install the application on Android device.

3. Open a browser on your device and type the deeplink myapp://showUUID.

A pop-up opens displaying the UUID of the device.
