Imagine having a snack, watching a movie, preparing a presentation or playing a game while being transported in a self-driving car. Is it what the future will look like? Will we be able to sit back and trust automated machines?

The German Continental Corporation, one of the world’s biggest automotive suppliers, dedicates its digital magazine to the future of mobility. Amongst many fascinating topics it explores people behind the automated driving, opportunities, cultural differences and ethical considerations associated with driverless machines.

wirDesign presents the Continental Magazine app launched for the International Motor Show IAA 2016

The Berlin brand agency wirDesign brought the Continental’s corporate communication to a new format. The existing printed corporate comms brochure has been converted into a digital magazine app and launched just in time for the 2016 International Motor Show IAA in Hannover. wirDesign is one of the leading German brand and communication agencies specialising in 360 corporate brand solutions and the Continental Magazine app is a great example of their work. The newly created free eMag has been written in German and English, with more languages to come as a part of the international roll-out of the magazine. Twice a year it offers a range of exciting reports and studies around key mobility trends enriched with multimedia content such as podcast interviews, films and more. The interactivity has been implemented thanks to the publishing solution from Aquafadas.

Easy-to-use Aquafadas tools

There has been multiple reasons behind choosing the Aquafadas tools:

  1. Easy to use and intuitive

This was a key deciding factor for the client who wanted to keep the existing corporate brochure layout and identity unchanged.
„ We were sold on the Aquafadas tools as soon as we realised that we can easily create  a tablet-optimized publication directly in InDesign. Aquafadas offers us endless possibilities to engage our readers with the mobility of the future.“, says Christian Kahl, Art Director at wirDesign.

  1. Different content issues and language versions in one app

On top of other requirements, wirDesign were looking for a kiosk solution with multi-language support. Aquafadas’ NextGen kiosk offers these features and much more –  and can be set up individually and changed very easily in real time via a web interface.

  1. Regional partner support

One of the final deciding factors for wirDesign was engagement and excellent support from CeeQoo, Aquafadas partner in the German speaking region.
